Mr. Hammers turned three years old yesterday.  This is him at 4 months.  He’s pawing at the drawer because it is his all-time favorite place to be.  He gets confused and angry when the drawer is closed.  It makes him even more upset when the drawer has things in it.  One time I put a sheet of paper in it as an experiment to see if he would find it more comfortable (since cats like paper).  He hated it.  He pawed at it to get it out.  As you can see from this photo, when he paws at things to get them out, he fails.  Except if the goal is to look cute.  In which case he wins.  His cuteness has trained us to keep the drawer open and empty at all times.  Who is whose pet again?  Oh what, you’re bothered by a sappy cat post?  You’re the one following Mr Hammer’s Tumblr.
